Hi I’m Jemma! I’m more of a dog carrier, than a dog walker 🤣. You will probably see me walking around Wells carrying a dog 🙈. I treat every dog I look after as if they were my own - I love them and care for them and their individual needs as every dog is different.

💛 My favourite part of the job: Is getting to know each dog’s personality, quirks and what makes them special.

💛 Worst part: Is having to give them back to their owners 😂.

💛 Experience: I have 20+ years of experience working and volunteering with animals in all different sectors, such as kennels, catteries, groomers, animal charities and rescue centres. Experienced working with reactive, nervous, rescues, puppies, seniors, pets with health issues and working dogs.

💛Qualifications: Over the years I have gained qualifications in animal care, dog care, pet first aid, dog walking, canine cpr, dog training, animal behaviour, pet sitting and I am always looking for courses to expand my knowledge and provide the best care to the pets in my care. I am currently studying canine psychology.

💛 Services offered: I offer dog walking, pet pop-ins, puppy visits, the occasional doggy day care and dog boarding (in my own home.)

💛 Important bits: I am licensed with the local council, insured and I am trained in pet first aid and cpr.

💛 I started my business when I was diagnosed with ptsd. I found it therapeutic and healing working around dogs and being lucky enough to bring my own dog to work with me. I can’t thank everyone enough for helping me be able to do the job I love - I couldn’t see myself doing anything else! Xx

Puppy is my 10 year old smiley, sweet, sassy, stubborn westie. (Yes, that really is her name! 🤣.) I adopted her from our local rescue centre Dogs Friends nearly 6 years ago. She is an ex-breeding dog, now living her best life as a spoilt pooch!

💗 She loves sausages, Greggs sausage rolls, visiting the pet shop, getting muddy in the local woods and going for adventures on the bus.

💗 She hates baths and is TERRIFIED of bunnies!

💗 She has her own Instagram page with over 10k followers. Where she shares her life, adventures, friends and outfits 😅. Take a look, as your pooch may make an appearance on there 🙂! @Puppytherescuewestie

She has become popular on instagram due to her 'pigtail ears'.

💗 She has collaborated with Clark's Village on their dog event. Which we are very proud of!

💗 Puppy’s had her photographs shared by Pets Corner, Pets at Home, Argos, Clarks village, Take a Break Pets, Good Boy, Rosewood, just to name a few!
